Love - not the LAW

 Good morning Children,

A verse to consider today, Matthew 22:40, NKJVOn these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.

And the preceding commandments are: :37 And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.  :38 This is the great and foremost commandment.  :39 “The second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself .” So you see from these words of Jesus that the LAW and the entire Bible are not a series of DO NOTs, as you might get from many people focusing on the Old Testament’s 10 commandments, but a simple instruction to love God and your neighbor.  The LAW and the 10 commandments are a follow on to the children of Israel when they would not follow the simple Love instructions.

Today’s world is a rough place to grow up, both in the time period and the political and physical conditions, it is getting harder to have the God-given freedoms and safety in the streets that we Americans, Citizens of the United States of America, have come to accept as common.  The chaos that the radical left-wing establishment is trying to create is directly focused on their rebellion against God, they cannot love or understand love or actually understand their hate.  They are out of touch with their inner God-created self.  So they are pushing to have no controls or normal limits as displayed in their attack on Whiteness, whatever that is, most of it reads like any parent's love and concern for their children.  We can discuss that later, but a big push for chaos is on Sex, a very favorite subject with people.  The EEE advocates see it as a way to break down the family and create depression and hate in young people.  Sex is not new, most of the biological kingdoms reproduce by sex, male and female.  God discusses it in Genesis.  David, a man after God’s own heart violated all the sexual rules and paid the penalties for his sins, but he loved God.  God forgives all sin if we ask Him for forgiveness.  He is much more interested in us living in Love than catching us in some sin.

And Jesus himself grew up in occupied Palestine with the Roman army in control, that is who crucified Him, the Roman governor, and his troops.  Jesus grew up in Nazarene a Roman garrison town and after His crucifixion the early church thrived in Antioch, another major Roman garrison town.  These were raw brutal towns, there was no sin today that would not have been evident in these towns, Jesus is aware and as I said before God is not surprised.

So mature into the person you want to be and God wants you to be.  Accept who you are, make the most of it, good and not so good.  Love God and your fellow man and God will bless you.  He does know you and He loves you,
